Bosch washing machine drum not turning
Engineers repair comments.
On inspection of the Bosch WFL2260 washing machine i found that the drum wasn’t turning. I could hear the relay on the control module pcb clicking on & off which meant that the electronic control module was ok and sending the electrical power down to the motor so my next port of call was checking the Bosch washing machine brushes to do this you remove the back panel and the motor from the drum fixings held on by two 10mm screws then release the wire terminal block from the motor, remove the motor from underneath the bosch washing machine then turn the motor on end to gain access to the Bosch carbon brushes, unclip the wire to the carbon brush and release the brush sprung loaded clip from brush housing, pull the carbon brush out repeat this on the other sides of the motor. You must then clean the motor armiture with a very fine piece of wet & dry sand paper untill it is a shining, this to remove the old carbon from the motor armiture. Fit the new brushes into the carbon brush housing and then fit the rest of the Bosch washing machine back together.

My Bosch machine WFF2001 is not draining the water out.
On inspection of the washing machine i found water left in the machine, I then had it find out if it needed any Bosch Washing machine spare parts. First i put the machine on a drain cycle, the drain pump made a buzzing noise but didn’t run. I then removed the drain filter and found a hair clip stopping the pump impellor from turning, I removed the hair clip refitted the filter and tested the bosch washing machine. I then carried out a function test and all was working correctly.

Engineers repair comments
Put washing machine on test and found there was no drum action, I tested the motor and found the motor carbon brushes had worn and were no longer making a contact with the motor armature. I replaced the motor carbon brushes Part no 154740. Tested the Bosch washing machine all working fine again and another problem was solved.
